Neil has been in the banking and financial services industry for over 30 years. He has an extensive background in Home Loans and Commercial and business finance.  Neil established Shire First Mortgages in 1999 with his partner Susanne and together they have helped hundreds of home buyers and investors achieve their property ownership dreams. Neil's greatest strength is his inability to take no for an answer. As many of our satisified clients will attest to, if Neil believes your loan has merit he is like a dog with a bone and will not give up until he has arranged a loan approval or found a solution for you. Apart from property and finance Neil is passionate about soccer. He is actively involved in Bangor Football Club as a coach, player and committee member.

Susanne Massingham BA, Dip Mktg, Cert IV Fin Services, JP, AMC

Susanne comes from a family background in real estate and a professional background of financial services marketing. Together with Neil, she has built Shire First Mortgages from a home based brokerage business to one of the Shire's most proactive and reliable mortgage broking and planning companies. In keeping with a degree in languages (fluent German and passable French), Susanne is our non resident lending expert . Her area of passion is customer service and she works hard to ensure all company policies and actions are customer centred. When not helping clients, Susanne can also be found helping out at Bangor Football Club. She can also occasionally be seen pounding the pavement near her home. But in her next life, she wants to be a rock star.
